Ukrainian-American filmmaker Roxy Toporowych brings an international perspective to bear on the conflict in her family’s homeland in this touching exploration of the true costs of love and war. Julia is a photographer intent on leaving Ukraine in the wake of the Maidan revolution. When she meets wounded soldier “English” while volunteering in a military hospital, a tentative romance blossoms – but is their relationship strong enough to outweigh their traumatic pasts?

Great film
Some stunning shots of day and night time Kiev. Brings back good memories of better times. A good film to watch under the current situation.
