Life for a Life
Жизнь за жизнь

Two girls are raised by an entrepreneurial single mother. Musya is the biological daughter, and Nata, the adopted daughter who is played by Vera Kholodnaya, is a beauty. When Nata meets a Prince betrothed to Musya, family loyalty is tested to breaking point. Kholodnaya, one of the most iconic actresses in Russian history, quickly earned the title of ‘Queen of the Screen’. Outstanding beauty aside, through total silence and the passage of time, she remains as luminous now as then.

Original score composed and performed by Juliet Merchant.
