Klassiki are proud to partner with Samizdat Film Festival for their 2023 edition.
Based in Glasgow, Samizdat is Scotland’s only festival dedicated to the best of classic and contemporary Eastern European and Central Asian cinema. Klassiki is proud to be the festival’s online partner in 2023. From 12 September – 5 October, we will be streaming a selection of titles from this year’s programme, including Šimon Holý’s acclaimed new comedy And Then There Was Love…, restorations of Soviet-era classics from Georgia and Armenia, a selection of animated film from across the region, plus the full programme of the festival’s inaugural short film competition. And over on the Klassiki Journal, we’ll be publishing interviews with directors and programmers.
