Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk (b. 1983) is a Ukrainian author and filmmaker. Born in Uman in central Ukraine, he studied architecture and philosophy before working as a cameraman and editor for local news channels. After studying film in Kyiv, he began producing short films, which have screened at festivals including Sundance, DOC NYC, IDFA, and the Toronto Film Festival. His feature debut Pamfir (2022) had its world premiere at Cannes, was nominated for the Discovery of the Year Prize of the European Film Awards, and received over 30 awards after screening at more than 70 film festivals.
