Maria Zbąska
Director
Maria Zbąska is a Polish filmmaker. A graduate of the prestigious Łódź Film School, Zbąska worked for many years as a photojournalist and commercial filmmaker before moving into fiction shorts. Her short Brother Dog earned festival acclaim and provided the director with the opportunity to move into feature filmmaking. Her feature debut, It’s Not My Film (2024), won the Andrzej Żuławski Golden Claw for best film at the Gdynia Film Festival.
