Joseph Brodsky, exiled from the USSR in 1972, was one of the most celebrated and famous Russian emigre writers of all time. This week, on the anniversary of his birth, we screen Andrei Khrzhanovsky’s film about the imagined return of the elderly poet to his parents and the city of his birth, St Petersburg.
